About Duarte, CA

Duarte is a city in the San Gabriel Valley of Los Angeles County, bounded to the north by the San Gabriel Mountains. Historic Route 66 runs through the middle of the city, following Huntington Drive. The city is named after Andrés Avelino Duarte, a Californio rancher who founded the community on his land grant.
